This pattern is used to mean that action 2 takes place immediately after action 1.

1. The subjects of the two verbs can be the same one .

          我一出门就看见小王了
          那条小狗太可爱了，弟弟一看就喜欢。

   2.  The subjects of the two verbs can be different .
        
         我打电话叫出租车，我一出门，车就来了。
         她一下飞机 ，我就看到她了。
